INTERLINK Language Center at Colorado School of Mines

This video presentation was created by Ahmed in fulfillment of his Communication Skills level Five assignment at INTERLINK Language Center on the Colorado School of Mines campus. Ahmed was instructed to learn something he always wanted to learn and demonstrate it on video. Ahmed had no computer building experience prior to this assignment and did all the research necessary to teach himself.  Using Windows Movie Maker to edit the video was also a first for him.  This assignment was introduced in the second week of the term and he took a week and a half to finish it. When students video themselves, they have an opportunity to self reflect and re-record themselves until they get a good sample.  Ahmed shared about the process in a class wrap up discussion. He mentioned he originally had over ten minutes of video that he had to view and edit plus re-record in some cases and what you see here is the final five minute version.
